Tackle Football (A, B, and C Levels)

Fee: $375

Registration begins on March 1, 2026.

• All tackle registrations will begin on a waitlist as we finalize team sizes and coaching assignments.

• Registering early is encouraged to help with planning and roster development.
  
  
• No fees will be charged until a player is placed on a roster.
  
  
•  A Level will allow for 7th graders this year.
  
  
• If a player is not placed on a tackle team, families may choose to move their registration to Advanced Flag, which provides a strong developmental experience.
  
  

Team placement details and next steps will be communicated after registration and coaching staff is determined. 

**Tackle Football Rostering Process

Many of you know that our tackle football program has had a long history of tiered signup. Meaning that we welcome all returning tackle players first, then advanced flag and finally new families. We are fortunate that our program is so popular and yet it is frustrating for us as a board that we cannot register all players. The RYFC league that we’re a part of is continually evolving and last year the C level changed from 8 on 8 to 11 on 11, allowing us to roster more C team players. This will make rostering returning B and C players this year a challenge as we can only have 2 teams at each level. 

Additionally, last year we reverted back to 6th graders only for our A team, a practice that has been mostly in place for around 10 years with a few exceptions. This year we have chosen to allow 7th graders back into our program.
We will prioritize returning 6th graders over 7th graders as 7th graders all have the option to play modified football for their school. 

Some of you also know that we split our B teams by grade last year. The league is currently voting on rule changes in March that may allow us to continue this practice or to not allow it, which is another reason we are waitlisting all players until we know more.

Finally, with the league votes in March, we may face new scheduling rules. This is why we are waitlisting all tackle registrations. We will also take this time to evaluate how we split our teams, how many 7th graders we take in and if we continue the Thomas and Schroeder split at the A level. We expect preliminary rosters to be created by May 1st, at which time you’ll be asked to pay your registration fee. More information will follow when we know more and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this process.  

Advanced Flag Football

Co-ed Program Fee: $275

Girls Only Program Fee: $100

• Advanced Flag continues to be a great option for athletes looking to build skills, stay competitive, and maximize playing time.

K–2 Flag Football

Fee: $200

• Registration opens: March 1, 2026.
  
  
• This program focuses on fundamentals, teamwork, and introducing young athletes to the game in a fun and supportive environment.
